Habitat for Humanity of Howard County is an ecumenical Christian organization that works in partnership with people everywhere from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need.  By providing simple decent affordable housing we are able to help hard-working low-income families realize their dream of homeownership.

Partnering with Churches, businesses, organizations and individual’s to build and provide homes for Howard County residents is the key to Habitat’s commitment to eliminate substandard housing and homelessness in Howard County.

Habitat for Humanity of Howard County pledges to you, our volunteer, that we will provide an environment that is comfortable and inclusive, allowing you the opportunity to flourish within our organizations.  We will actively listen and seek to truly "hear" your perspectives as a fresh set of eyes and ears may just be what we need to overcome a challenge.  We value your time and respect your outside obligations, as we do not wish to "make" anyone volunteer with us.  But most of all, we will strive to provide YOU, the most important members of our team, with a fun and rewarding place to volunteer your time and talents!
